FALL DOWN REPORT
Located in the northwest corner of Piazza de Spagna at the street junction of Via del Babuino and Via della Croce an incident occurred. It was approximately 6:45 in the evening when a tourist was crossing the small road while avoiding the conglomerate of cars, skooters and mini garbage vacuum trucks. Equipped with 2 friends this middle aged female was walking the proverbial runway of Italian high fashion. Her leather jacket was aged red, her hair was big, her pants were skinny denim and her shoes were high in the heal.
As she step up the curb and entered the Piazza (large square) she stepped with confidence until the left spiked heel of silver shoes caught the raised edge of an ancient cobbled stone. Her momentum sent her into a circus act of disaster aversion. Instantly her face went towards the ground like she was headed into a yoga position reminsant of downward dog. Her right arm went forward to stop her body from hitting the ground but never did touch it, her left arm swung high to the air. This was the pinnacle of her situation , she actually did not fall due to the counterweight provided by the Dolce and Gabbana shopping bag firmly gripped in her left hand. If you could imagine her in mid-recovery with her arm stretched out vertical as if to deliver a perfect strike on the bowling lane and her face mere inches from the ground. When the arm swung back down her body straightened back up at the hip, she looked to her friends and her face turned the same colour as her aged Italian leather coat, bright red. Even though she did not fall, she may have well as because she looked just as stupid.
