Big Day Part 2

So the second half of Big Day was spent at the Black Barn Winery. Every year the winery holds a Film Festival at their Amplitheater. The theater is set amoungst the vineyards on the flanks of Te Mata peak. Nestled into the natural coulees high on the hill you find your spot and make camp for the film. We had a picnic and a few beers, while waiting for dark. From the terraces you can look out over Hawks Bay over Hastings and onto Napier. As the sun sets the film starts. The open air cimena was screening Martin Scorseses documentry of The Rolling Stones in "Shine a Light". Great way to end our Big Day.
