Big Day was comprised of a day floating on the Tuki Tuki (too-kee too-kee) River and then onto our night activity (see next post). What we figured we were setting out for was a three hour tour but it actually turned into a 5.5 hour tour and a lesson in sunscreen application. Victims included Andreas lower back and legs and Gregs (our flatmate) back. All is cool and we can now call ourselves international river rafters! Take that Hinch's!! Anyway it was a fun few hours of lazy cruising below the beautiful Te Mata peak which marks the southern end of Hawkes Bay, NZ (viewed below as the backdrop in Andreas Bandito photo).
